Software engineer and master’s student in Rio de Janeiro

I’m figuring things out as I go, and this is where I write about it.

I’m Simon — an engineer and master’s student in Informatics and Software Engineering at PUC Rio de Janeiro, originally from Germany. I tend to take the less obvious path, and this blog is where I share what I find along the way.

That includes things from my studies, personal projects that might be useful to someone else, and stories from life — travels, places I’ve been, challenges I’ve faced. The kind of things that help, or at least make you think.

Honest accounts of things that were hard, confusing, or took longer than expected — shared in case they’re useful to someone going through something similar.
