I’m Simon. I work at the meeting point of software, artificial intelligence, and privacy.
I studied International Project Engineering in Germany and now study Informatics at PUC-Rio in Rio de Janeiro. At the AISE Laboratory, I research how software tools and AI can help developers deal with privacy in a more practical way. This blog is where I share the projects, research notes, and lessons that come from that work—as well as the places and experiences shaping life around it.
What I write about#
Software, AI, and privacy: practical projects and research about building systems that are useful, understandable, and careful with people’s data. Learning in public: ideas from my master’s degree, new tools, and things I had to understand the hard way. Travel and perspective: life in Brazil, stories from the road, and the experiences that keep changing how I see work and the world.
